Well I could resist taking this photo last weekend.
That's me at 24 weeks feeling big, blessed and happy.
Ben felt a kick last week and he couldn't claim it was gas this time. In fact he has felt several kicks since then and I love getting to share these with him. No denying it, the little one is moving all over the place these days. It feels really amazing and is such a reminder each day that we have another life coming to the family.
Ben and I enjoyed a quiet week and weekend which was quite needed. This weekend we even took advantage of some things everyone keeps telling us to do before the baby is here; eating out, naps, and going to the movies. We saw The Monuments Men and really enjoyed it - great for anyone who enjoys history, art or George Clooney.
We are also now in the throes of redoing the office into a nursery. The remodeling part is almost done and it's looking great. I'm so glad we hired someone to help us, it has taken away a lot of stress and work that would have been primarily on Ben. Our contractor, a friend of mine from Lubbock, has done an excellent job with making our little room prettier, more insulated and just perfect. I can't wait to get the furniture and baby bedding in next. Photos coming soon.
